Hang on to that puppy Nevin believe me if you get rid of it the time will come when you'll kick yourself for letting her go.You have an obvious knack for slide so you should hang on to her and just polish up your chops. You should also check out Jr. Brown,he plays a Mustang/slide combination guitar and mixes country licks with Hendrix stuff plus the guy doesn't take himself too seriously and looks like he's having a ball on stage.

I'm with everyone that says keep it. I never get rid of instruments, someday I just may want to learn how to play them. My banjo however has been sitting for more than a couple years...lol.
