Haha ya me too. I'm sure I'll pick up the lee sometime. But it will be a few years. I love jim o'rourke's stuff man. I just got a couple of his albums he did in japan on vinyl. great stuff. I really want a long scale guitar with the wide range pickups. I'd probably go with the ones Lollar put out. They're supposed to be fairly close to the originals. I was thinking about doing a jblaster build in the future using warmoth body/neck but by the time I put it all together I'm not sure I would have saved much money at all. esp dropping $400 on pickups alone.

Hi have a japanese Burt Bacharach album that Jim O'Rourke put out. Its done remarkably straight. I'm convinced bands sometimes keep their best (weirdest) stuff for the Japanese market.

I'm a pretty big SY fan. They occasionally miss big but when they hit they are great. bought a new car back in 2002 that had a 6 CD changer in it. Before I pulled out of the lot I put Murray Street in the changer. Its still there

haha I read about that album but haven't heard it yet. I love Murray Street. I read a couple days ago that they are going to finish up a new album pretty soon. They are also putting out a live dvd/album of a 1985 show. I think it was '85. Should be saweet.

Just received an email from a Fender rep. Apparently these guitars will be shipping mid-to-end of February. Sounds like there was confidence in this date so hopefully it doesn't get bumped again. Geist, maybe you can hold out a little longer?
