I didn't have any 0000 steelwool to clean the fretboard with but it is unbelievable the difference a few drops of lemon oil made on this old dried out fretboard. To me, it looks much better. Next time I remember to get the steelwool so that I can clean it too!

Man Looks great... I "oil" mine every other string change, and every string change in winter (dry) keeps em' looking great!
