I've been working for a large electronics corporation as an electronic tech for 20 years but I'm also a musician. I've done my own amp and most other repairs for quite a long time.

There are only a couple people in this area that do music equipment repairs and my understanding is that there is some demand for more. I've often thought I'd like to begin doing it within the next couple years.

Is there a certification program or some such in order to be a "qualified" or authorized Fender amp repairman?

That's a good profession to get into. I'd start with contacting these people and asking questions. Good luck!!
