Hi guys...

http://proguitarshop.com/blog/fulltone- ... pedal-3080

...what is the song playing at 1:30 ?

My immediate guess was Cream but it likely is not.

Anyone knows what it is? Thanks.

That's American Woman by The Guess Who.

Thanks, but I'm interested just in the solo 1:45 - 1:53.

American Woman is the song being played immediately after that.

And if I'm not mistaken something badly that solo has nothing to do with Lenny's American Woman song (I've listened the original American Woman song version, that solo wasn't in).

The solo that Phil is playing from 1:45 to !:56 is definitely the solo that Randy Bachman played for American Woman when he was with the Guess Who.He played this lick during the intro. The song came about as the result of an impromptu jam that happened at a concert when one of the guitar players broke a string and Burton Cummings made up the lyrics on the fly.

Thanks guys I'll check that out... :D
Unfortunately it isn't in in "stock" or "original" Kravitz's song version so I'm not familiar with it...

But I *think* I also heard that solo in one Austin Powers movie, but I'm not so sure about it...

It sure is catchy. 8)
