the only Super Bowl that the Bears have won and today's game have the weather in common, if anyone's watching, Soldier Field is a winter wonderland, just hoping the Bears can win this game too.

edit: I remember a win by the Bears that season had weather similar to today's, it just wasn't the Super Bowl. my bad

I had been looking forward to watching that game, ( being a patriots fan since Bill Parcells and Drew brought them back from last place every year ) But unfortunately, I am stuck watching the Broncos vs. the Cardnials. NOT the game I wanted to see, But the cards are up 13-3 at the end of the half.

It was kind of a boring game to watch, but it was cool to see it snowing there and to see New England clich playoff spot. :)

 I had this feeling about the game and started this thread not knowing exactly the reason. midway through the 4th quarter I found myself shouting at the TV/Patriots to score 10 more points and then for the Bears to kick a field goal, the score would have been 46 Patriots/ 10 Bears, Super-Bowl XX score. it ended 36 Patriots and 7 Bears. poor sad little Bears got their helmet's handed to them again. the game was a perfect example of how the Patriots only got better after that rookie Super-Bowl and the Bears got to be the poor sad little Bears

My fantasy team is pretty solid right now with Brady, Welker, Greene-Ellis and Pats D.

Well SBLS, I'll hand it to the Bears, They have played a Great regular season so far, They are still ahead of Green Bay. 8) I think the Bears are leading their Division.

Marvin65, I shouldn't be so hard on the Bears, I know, they could be the Lions

Yeah thats true, But chalk one up for the Lions today, They beat Green Bay, Helping the Bears lock in first place in NFC North. Looks like the Bears may be in the playoffs. 8)

Yeah it was, Thanks Miami. (never thought I'd say that) and the jets have to get through Pittsburg next week and then Chicago, So they may be falling back from all the Smack they were talking two weeks ago before they got schooled by New England last week. If Pittsburg dosen't get them, I think Chicago will. Chicago needs to stay on top of their game to keep their lead over Green Bay to get a Playoff spot. Next few weeks have some good games coming up. 8)

Marvin65, that is good news and I hope the Bears can hold on and get themselves into the playoffs. For the past couple years since the Bear defeat in the Super-Bowl I haven't been watching or really have been avoiding watching my favorite sport because I found myself getting upset over the teams that I favored losing games and actually shouting at referee's through the TV screen over bad calls, so, I like hearing about football, the good news like you have written (thank you for that Marvin) anyway, from a safe distance, which is why I hardly ever read much less post on any threads related to the game, it's not lack of interest, I just get too involved and when I think about that it's just silly.
