A quick dinner for me, then off to see JB tonight at the Hard Rock Live...should be a good show!

Lucky you! I saw him on Nov 20th and wish I could rewind back to that concert! Wait til you hear the new intro to Sloe Gin that he has been playing, it is killlllller.

Hope you enjoy the concert, let us know how it goes.

Ha! That is such a good judgement! I am an absolute connoisseur of Sloe Gin and I don't believe I've ever heard it sounding as fine as in the last few months (he was touring over my way in October). Very cool.

Also, watch out for Woke Up Dreaming. Some tasty new licks happening in that one.

Enjoy! - C

Ceri, not sure if you saw the video I posted from the concert went to back on Nov 20th or not, but here is Sloe Gin from the 2nd row

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfRMgKm-S_k

That tremolo from :38-:49 was so sick the way if echoed throughout the place

You called it Black Cat, and the rest of the show was absolutely amazing. Jason Bonham sat in for a couple of songs also
Some quick photos then off to bed. More to come; gotta figure out how to load some videos. He's hard to photograph...never stops moving; I tried my best.

Great pictures man. Nice work. He does look like he would be hard to photograph.

Definitely hard to photograph, took about 50 pictures myself and most of them are blurry :)

The wife and I saw him November 23 in Greenville, SC at the Peace Center....

check out the cd "Live From Nowhere In Particular". It is a double disc and a really good listen. The Ballad of John Henry is a must own along with Blues Deluxe and Sloe Gin. Spread the word too! I have enjoyed spreading the word to friends who havent heard of Joe and seeing them get into his music as well.

I was there last night, and it was AWESOME! The new licks in 'Woke Up Dreaming' were out of control! I also really loved 'Bridge to Better Days'. The dynamics he uses with that riff are so powerful. I mean, every song was great, of course.

What was the song about halfway through about a train? NOT 'So Many Roads'. 'So Many Roads' was unbelievable. The best I have heard it, in fact. But that OTHER train song was SO GOOD. I mean, he really dug in on that one. Loved the use of feedback on that one, too.. Anyone know the title?

Also, this show was a first date for me and a nice girl I recently met. Turned into an 11 and a half hour date in total. I'd say that's a good sign!

Thanks Joe for a hell of a night!

Also, I edited that setlist on the site, because he played Django before Mountain Time, sort of as an intro. But he played the whole piece. I liked how he opened the RAH DVD set with Django. Really neato.
