Almost any decent chorus should beat the stock "stuff" that is on the amp. Go to Guitar Center and test some out.

+1 Those built in chorus effects on a lot of amp are painful. Fender has never been a great effect company except for maybe the Fender Bender and the Fuzz Wah the built in stuff is terrible. My GDec has tons of built in lousy effects.

For about 50 bucks the Danelectro Cool Cat Chorus gives you great bang for the buck and a great warbling chorus that can do a really good job of emulating the Leslie/Univibe sound.

I don't know of I'd go that far with the Cool Cat sounding like a Leslie or Univibe, but it's a huge bang for the buck.

Yeah in retrospect I went a bit overboard saying that it did a great job of emulating the Leslie etc. but for the money it is a pretty decent chorus and you can get a pretty wide range of speed and intensity settings suitable for just about any situation.Having said that the Vox ValveTech series of amps do incredibly lifelike jobs of sounding like the Univibe and Leslie. The Vox effects even slow down and speed up gradually just like the real things easily the best amp emulations I have heard yet and that definitely isn't hyperbole.

How about the Delta Lab SC1 Chorus. It's true stereo and just $60.

Negative conatact ghost rider

you will not find a pedal that
sounds as good as the ultimate Chorus
why? you ask
Quote:
In addition, a true, stereo
chorus circuit utilizing two 65-watt power amplifiers gives
this amp that lush, stereo chorus sound. The Fender® ULTIMATE
CHORUS is one of the most “Expressive” amplifiers
ever made.

Taken from support section Ultimate Chorus Manual

In effect it splits the signal and sends it seperately to
each speaker a pedal straight into the board cannot
do that unless it has two outputs and you dedicate it to
two different channels on the board.

I have never messed with a Marshall that I did not love the chorus.

Any love, or better, recommendations on Marshall Chorus Pedals for
a Fender amp (DRRI)?

I was surprised at the quality, too. I love stereo modulation effects (except maybe tremolo). Would like to see somebody make a reasonably priced Uni-Vibe clone in stereo. The mini Deja Vibe stereo model is great, but it's about $300 and I cannot justify that expense.
