We all have seen/heard albums that the name alone intrigued us...

One of my favorite titles is "Car Wheels On A Gravel Road" by Lucinda Williams...it instantly invokes memories of my childhood (there were a lot of gravel roads in my childhood...)

Another is "The Smoker You Drink, the Player You Get" by Joe Walsh. I always thought it was funny, and then when i got older and started drinking I understood it on another level.

the fact that I like both of those artists adds to the attraction of the album names.

What album name intrigues you (even if you don't like the album or artist)?

The Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd (honestly just about every Floyd album title has an intriguing name in my opinion)

Seventh Son of a Seventh Son - Iron Maiden (great artwork too)

Hemispheres - Rush

Rubber Soul - The Beatles... (very overrated band... totally kidding LOL)

Boston - Boston... yeah doesn't make much sense but when i was a young lad half the reason i was intrigued by that band is because "why would they name their band after a city? but that's kinda cool" then I stole the 8 track tape from my brother and realized this album doesn't need a title. And the album cover was all Atari 2600 like so that was cool tool

Radiohead - The Bends

The More You Drink The Better We Sound.
Full Metal Racket

A lp and ep from a previous band I was in. never seen any album titles as laughable. The singer was excellent at coming up with that stuff.

Quite a lot I'd say. Particularly Zappa meets the Mothers of Prevention. Then look at the track listing. Coupled with the fact that all but one song are instrumentals. In light of his hot battles with the PMRC, I thought it was a work of comedy genius.

Not just the title, I know.

I bought Rhythm & Jews by the Klezmatics based purely on the title. Turned out to be a pretty cool album too. 8)
