'Riding with Nevin on "O Holy Night" being the total fave.

However for pure imagery, "We Three Kings Of Orient Are"...

... conjures up a visual of three separate caravans of camels and horses, the important guys, the servants, the escorts...coming from who knows how far, traveling for who knows how long, through arid and rich green lands, towns, mountains, bandit country, weather...

...following that star, but not knowing quite what to exepect at the end of their journey....

My favorite is, "What Child Is This?" I don't know if this really counts though because it is in fact, "Greensleeves" with the words changed.

Billy Squier's 'Christmas is the time to say I love you'......used to get heavy play on the original MTV. Mean solo by G.E. Smith.

I just got in from my "Christmas gig" and man, what a great time - - Christmas is for kids some say - - I say Christmas is for giving and sharing.

Words just can't describe how I feel right now - ;overjoyed; is closest I can think of.

Merry Christmas to all! :D

Our ensemble is doing, among others, "Night Of Silence," a little-publicized but really dramatic, spiritual, lyrical piece, for Christmas Eve sundown Mass.

as a guitarist, i love the venture's version of sleigh ride.

still love the "christmas song" by nat king cole.

it's strange- so many christmas songs bring back memories of my youth. when my kids grew up an moved out, it was a bummer for us. now we are grandparents, and the fun starts over. saturday we were at our daughter and son-in-law's house. we baked cookies, played christmas music, and just had a great day. to me that is what christmas is about

That whole Ventures Christmas album is pretty cool.
