Today I went into my usual guitar store Reid Music in Mt Pearl,NL and picked up my new Christmas baby-my Epi Les Paul Traditional Pro. When I got home I plugged her into my Blues Jr. and then my Marshall JCM 800 4210 combo, she sounds absolutely fabulous. The coil tapping feature makes her one of the most versatile guitars on the market today. She only cost $509 + tax-way cheaper than any prices I could find in the U.S. Anyway I'll post more info and pix when my computer savy jamming pal Pat drops by next.

She's the burgundy model,my Les Paul playing buddy who has 4 or 5 says that the neck is chunkier than his but even with my smallish hands and neuro-muscular problems I was playing it for a long time and found it very comfortable and the action is a dream.I'm going to wait til I get my music room fixed up before I try her through my Marshall JCM 800 half stack. Through the Blues Jr. I was able to get the Robert Fripp Court Of The Crimson King tone spot on which is one of the most delicious guitar tones ever.

I hope to get pix up some time this weekend, although she's supposed to be a Christmas present I have to try her out for a couple of weeks to make extra sure that there's no problems with her lol.I have named her Lucy for reason's that anyone who knows my influences will find apparent. I'm going to look around for someone who can do a good job of engraving her name in the pickguard.I'm going out tomorrow or Monday to pick up a Marshall Micro-Stack for another bedroom/livingroom amp.
