Since the other thread became too controversial...who is the most UNDER-RATED artist or group of all time.

My vote--BUDDY WHITTINGTON or the ARC ANGELS.

I'm going to go with the Outfield as my first post... yeah sure their not virtuoso's but I really like the sound of the Play Deep record and the songs are fun. I attribute a lot of that to the fine engineering of Bill Whitman as well.

Another guy i like is the guy from School of Fish, Josh Clayton Felt. He went solo and i saw him open for Tori Amos... yes i've been to a Tori Amos show back in the 90s. This young guy just came on the stage with nothing but an acoustic guitar and sounded familiar but i couldn't figure out where i heard him. He was another that was not virtuoso but i was just enjoying his music. I ran out and bought his record and still love it. Just fun tunes that he wrote, produced and recorded himself.

Sadly he died a few years later at the age of 30 of cancer. RIP Mr. Felt, you're missed.
