All successful bands have a set list no one in the band knows and they never ever practice for shows they shouldn't have obliagted themselves for, so you're on your way to a brilliant career....

Step 1, turn off the computer, quit wasting your time whining on forums and get up and actually do something in the non-virtual-internet world, like call whatever band members you do have and practice. If the other band members aren't able to practice, then practice by yourself.

Step 2, pick a song or songs everyone knows.

Step 3, play just to play and have fun, and then when you're ready, hit the talent show, otherwise you will all look like a bunch of fools on stage trying to hit the Dio vocals with 2 guitar players who don't know the song and a bass player who maybe won't have an amp. I'm sure the chicks will go wild.

Schedule a practice with your friends WITHIN THE WEEK! If you can all get together with guitars and amps, practice for 2 or 3 hours. Try to do this at least a couple of days a week. If everybody doesn't know a song, bring a disc, tape, or some sort of recording and everybody listen to it. Then practice it over and over until you have it down as close as you can get to the original. It would help to have a drummer, too.
