At the very least, not as long as Bonham stays dead.

It's just not the same. Check out some of the O2 show on youtube.

Same applies to most if not all rock bands that are not as young as they once were. The Who is a perfect example, just not the same. Or see recent performances by any iteration of Van Halen. Just not the same.

Bottom line...it just wouldn't be the same. Watch The Song Remains the Same instead!

Definitely Not....

Seriously, it's been eons, maybe they're not quite that old but, Plant is not into it.

I saw them in 75 in Indianapolis, missed my ride so hitchhiked 60 miles in January in a snowstorm to see them. I did miss 1/4 of the show but I was determined to see them. Still have the ticket.
Being in the Air Force in the middle of Indiana (between Kokomo and Peru) for 2 years was like watching paint dry, any concert, no matter who was playing, I was going.
It was a great concert, sleeping in the bus station afterwards was not so great

Iv'e gone and seen a few reunions from bands and I always leave the concert with the feeling that the musical magic is gone and it was more about windfall profits, rather than the music.

I'm a firm believer that like all artists in any genre, you can and will never recapture the past, it is best to progress forward, it is difficult enough to stay relevant and compose music that is fresh and a reflection of your life in the present.

Nostalgia is not what it's cracked up to be, the 70's were not as wonderful as some remember with rose colored glasses.
I would have killed for an I-pad or I-phone back then( had they been invented..)

I saw Plant and Krauss and listen to the band of joy, those are perfect examples of where musicians need to be 25 years later.

I may be old..er but I despise geriatric rock, you could not pay me enough to go see the Stones, I love their music but for me, it is well past their time to move on, however I'm intrigued by Ron Wood's new solo effort..

As for tribute bands, that is just lame, regardless of the demand a tribute band will always be a note for note replica of the original, yet never able to achieve the spontaneity and creativity of the original band.
