Hi good people, i'm hoping that someone will know for sure, if the fender hot rod deluxe amp, and the blues deluxe reissue amp have the same exact specs, other than the obvious things like the color of the tolex etc. I'm looking at things like what's under the hood, and features. Those two amps are very similar, but not identical (I have a 98 US HRDlx). The HRDlx has the "More Drive" where the BDlx doesn't. There are other differences under the hood, but not much as far as operation and circuit design goes. Check out any sites that sell the amps to see speaker differences, if any. The HRDlx has a "Gold Label Reissue" Eminence speaker stock, don't know the stock BDlx speaker. The schematics are on the Fender site, correct for the HRDlx originals not the III, and for the BDlx originals not the later versions or the III. I thought that I would reply, to move your topic up and maybe someone will notice it, sometimes they get lost in the shuffle. I know that someone has a link to the BDLx manual, with a correct schematic for the newer BDlx, but still no schematic for any version III are out yet.
