Re Global warming and the tundra:Global warming is alive and well in Canada's north. Our icefields and the permafrost in our tundra regions are receeding at an alarming rate. The rate of melting is so rapid and severe that meteorologists and naturalists are saying that polar bears will face extinction by 2020 if there isn't something done to halt or retard the warming immediately.

That's bad business and no doubt. I have to question whether that is due to natural climate shift or damage induced global warming though.

Whatever is causing it, we should do something to save the polarbears. Who else is going to make me my mints?

while you guys are getting snow, we're getting rain. lots and lots and lots of it. its very weird for this time of year, it should be 45 C and 2% humidity and everythings dry as bone. not to mention the towns getting flooded every single week
