It's a quote from one of the Fender engineers who designed that amp, as related to Tom Wheeler in his book "Fender Amps: The Soul Of Tone" about how the amp got its name.

For historical reference, the first two on my list get the most use.

Gerry Weber's books are pretty thorough. And Aspen Pittman's is often quoted as "the gospel". They're all worthy IMO.

A friend of mine has a vintage instrument shop with a red knobed twin in there. It's the best sounding amp in the shop, he refuses to sell it. I strongly agree with him, the thing sounds absolutely amazing. Has Oxford speakers, which he tells me is quite unusual for the time it was made.
When I visit, I don't plug into the array of 66' AC30's, JMP's or JTM's. He has plenty of em, old blackface bassmans too.
Not that theres anything at all wrong with those amps. Three of em are my all time favourites.
Some people make you so jealous, fancy buying a shop, just to keep your collection in.

Do you know what year it is from?

Seem to think it was 1980. Absolutely not sure though and what I know about Fender amps couldn't back up a mosquito fart.
