Y'all may remember a year ago when my brother Chet and I made an emergency run to Oklahoma to be with our brother for the last few days of his life. He passed away one year ago today. I'm honored to present to you the guitar that he started many years ago, but my son Eric and I finished today. Introducing "Bittersweet".

Beautiful Tele, Robin. I love the fact that the 3 of you were very close. A wonderful tribute to Carl.

Thanks for the compliments, guys! I guess I should give the specs:

Warmoth Swamp Ash body with a birdseye top
2Tek bridge
PRS Tremonti bridge pickup
GFS oversize vintage neck pickup
JRS Jatoba/Rosewood neck
Gotoh tuners.

Carl was going to build it as a baritone, but we put a standard scale length neck on it and use really heavy strings. It's tuned down to C#.

I think Carl would love to know what a beautiful and loving tribute the guitar turned out to be-in fact I'm sure he does. That's a very heartwarming example of a family's love and togetherness. The guitar turned out incredible, the birdseye top is outstanding.
