Couldnt pass up this 83 les paul. It was set up perfect and it is in good shape. I need to change the pickups to burstbucker pros asap. Im loven playing it though. My strat is getting jealous.

A Les Paul is just another usable tool in a guitarist's "kit".

Nice score, turrican!

nice fiddle. it looks like you have a seymor duncan hot rail in the bridge position of the strat. i have one in my MIM and i love it. also off topic, what style of music do you play and what do you think of the 5150?

Very nice ... I love the yellowed binding. It would look pretty cool with some retro gold Les Paul knobs. Great guitar.

Great looking Les Paul-Don't the pickups of the '83 sound good enough? Guys I know have Les Pauls from that era that sound much better than today's Les Pauls. The '57 Classics are also worth checking out ,if you like the PAF type tone they're just great.

I love this Forum. The Forum I spent most of my time on before would have berated you for getting a Les Paul or a Strat. I also say congrats and hope you love it as much as I love my Les Paul. Don't worry. The Strat will still get its playing time too.

I'll second that. I installed those in my LP and love them.

Turrican,

I love the LP. It looks sweet and I bet it plays like a dream. Congratulations on that score.

It's good to have a strat, it's better to have a strat and a paul.
