Ya'll demonstrate how well you can handle yourselves this weekend, and we'll take a "mental note" of said activity, mmm-kay? :-)

So if we're good this weekend, we can have the keys next weekend????

Hey Brad, are you shooting any of that video too? Or do you have a bunch of interns running around getting footage galore?

Just checking to see if the forum was open early

Hope you are all having fun. I know it is kind of early but this forum is running weird. I can't see the most recent posts.

Hope everything works out for the last day open.

Take care,

Guys: I'm sitting here literally inside the booth at the NAMM Show (and I do mean that quite literally -- I and a couple of the other web team guys are set up inside one of the walls in the booth!) We're getting geared up to start posting footage from this year's Frontline Live event; the first performance is in progress and any minute now the video crew will start bringing our first batch of material over for posting.

Couple of quick updates here: firstly, I'd like to introduce Fender Front Row™ - The Fender Blog ... hop over and check it out. This is the vehicle that we're going to use to share the trade show happenings this year, but it's also going to live on past that and we'll be getting quite a few additional personnel involved in posting behind-the-scenes content as it happens. Hop over and take a moment to get yourself familiarized with it; there are few things that. Subscribe to the RSS feed if you'd like to be notified automatically of updates.

And ... since we're going to be here working 20 hours a day anyway, I thought it'd be nice to leave the forums open for posting ALL DAY Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Have fun and, as always, let's all behave ourselves. :-)
!how do i win!!!!!

Actually, Brad brought myself and another Web Team member, Mike, with him this time around. Mike and I have been shooting a TON of video on hand-held video cameras, editing, and then posting the video up for Brad to blog for all of you guys :D

We've had a lot of fun doing this and foresee us returning many times in the future to do the same thing. Stay tuned, as there is over 25GB worth of video on my laptop alone and I am working as fast as I can to edit out the slow parts so I can get it out for you guys to see!

Yeah, I've shot a *few* of the clips here and there including some cool stuff yesterday that Steven's editing right now -- but the majority of behind the scenes stuff that you're seeing this year is being shot by Interactive Designers Steven Crouch and Mike McCurry. Both have been a huge help in getting the stuff posted to YouTube, MySpace, and Yahoo! Video as well. We all owe them big kudos for their help!!

Is this only available to US residents? Canada excluded again?

If anyone has a chance, try out the new Fender Fuzz Wah reissue. I had one of the originals in the early 70's and the distortion and wah were awesome. I gave it to my brother when I bought the newer Fender fuzz wah that didn't slide back and forth and had volume controls on it. I think the distortion earlier one was better. Built like a tank. The pots on mine were driven with a string and worked really well.

No, this one's more of an informal for-fun thing -- open to all!
