Can anybody tell me how deep the trussrod slot is on a Tele/Strat neck at the heel ?

i.e. if I were to drill a hole underneath the heel, how far would the drill go before hitting the trussrod or the truss rod anchor ?

I do have a good reason for asking, it's not just idle curiosity ....

Around 10mm to the best of my knowledge. It's been over a year but the curvature of the trussrod either goes 10mm/14mm(center of neck)/10mm. Or 14mm/10mm/14mm.

To be safe I wouldn't plan on going deeper than 6mm/1/4"

It's the headstock adjustment type neck I am curious about, if I could ask one further question, do you know how much wood there is between the end of the neck and the channel which is routed to take the trussrod anchor ? . Do I have at least 6mm there as well, do you suppose?
