I have bagged Moose, very expensive hunt when your Non Resident. We used to try and go on one big hunt every two or three years but the cost is going through the roof to do so.
Hope to make the drawing next year to get Bear permit for MD. next year. And you are right Nevin, Deer are everywhere they have several manage hunts set up in some of the local areas near houses just trying to thin the herds.

If you don't thin them out occasionally more of them will starve. I say thin and feed yourself and the needy!!

I am not sure if thats Nevin. Looking at the news earlier I seen where a guy bagged a 43 point Deer in PA. One of those wild looking non typical racks like you see Bass Pro send around the country for display.

I try to go elk hunting in Colorado during archery every year. Was in Manitoba 2 yrs ago for black bear. I got a nice 250 lb bear on that trip. I plan on going deer hunting in Manitoba soon. I do enjoy a good hunt.
