So this is the first sick day I've taken in my life...lots of time spent in the bathroom over the last couple days :(

It's kind of a monumental occassion...I was always proud of never missing work.

So anyway I guess I'll spend the day in bed surfing the net and chatting here...sounds like a good day for research into replacement pickups.

Machines breakdown all the time, stop feeling guilty, just enjoy your recoup time as much as you can.

No need to feel guilty with your excellent sick leave record after all look at all the people who go off on compensation with something as little as a paper cut or who take a couple of "mental health" days every month. Get well soon but don't hurry back to work, you deserve a break. BTW did you look into Bare Knuckle pups? They're getting rave reviews everywhere.

After several weeks, I'm still getting over whatever is going around.

Take a break and take care of yourself. Now that you've "broken the ice" with having a sick day, in the future, if you need them, use them!

Get well super quick!!

Yeah man absolutely. I know how you feel, this happened to me about a month ago. I have been working there for four years without having a sick day. Then again I don't really enjoy the place I work all that much, but it's a pride thing I guess lol. No worries man it happens and get well soon!

This crap that's goin' around is a real pisser. I'm startin' my sixth week and the friggin' cough just hangs on and hangs on. First two weeks were the worst. Know what I mean by "basketball head"? If you don't, it means your head feels 'bout as big as a basketball and just as inflated. Really uncomfortable. Hope you're feelin' better soon nicholsoni.
