nothing but overpriced, glorified power strips from my experience.
we did an outdoor gig this summer. the town showed up with a very nice generator that had about 20 pairs of outlets. the bass player in my band who has all the pa equipment plugged his conditioner into one outlet and insisted that everything be plugged into that. the guy from the town told him "last time somebody had one of those, it kept blowing the circuit". dave (the bass player) insisted, so everything got plugged into the conditioner. when dave stepped away, i pulled my stuff out and plugged into a different outlet on a separate breaker.
the whole f'n system went down about 4 times. me and the drummer kept the music going until dave finally disconnected the conditioner.

spend your money on a toy that makes noise instead ;)
