hey guys i need your help.
in speaking with a local shop im told my HW1
tremolo is to narrow for a ashtry cover.
he suggests i buy a wider trem plate, add my saddles and
then get a ashtray to fit the new wider plate.
its my guess that with all the strat parts places out there
somebody has got to make a tray to fit my trem.
can anybody help me hunt down a ashtray? pleeeeeease.

The Fender "ashtray" fits only those Strats using the original vintage-spec trem or hardtail bridge with 2-7/32" string spacing.

Unless you're able to change out your bridge, yes.

And AFAIK, nobody but Fender and Allparts ever made the ashtrays for a Strat.

Why in the name of satans fetid underwear would you want a bridge cover?

All they ever did was make it impossible to palm mute. A wholly useless contraption.

Do Satan's fetid underwear smell as bad as Nosferatu's Noxious Knickers?

I thought that everyone knew that vampires suffer terrible sinus problems. It's the over use of antihistamines that leads to their pale complexion. So the vampire saying goes 'as stiff as Dracula's handkerchief'.

Satan has very unhygenic underwear because he sweats far too much. It's very hot where he lives.
