Soooooo, I'm thinking about building a guitar. I am trying to do this on a budget so being the cheap $@! that I am I was wondering if anyone knew what, if any, necks would fit on to a squire strat body. I would be replacing all the electronics etc but am trying to avoid having to buy a body.

I know this is probably not going to work ha ha.

As long as the body isn't an Affinity or a Bullet, any Fender neck should be adaptable to a regular Squier neck pocket. Some "minor adjustment" may be required.

Getting a solid snug fit in the neck pocket. You might need to shave or shim a bit.
