If my idol and mentor and huge guitar influence Jimi Hendrix had lived today would have been his 68th birthday. Many have speculated what Jimi would be doing today if he had lived, whether he'd be another washed up rock star playing small venues rehashing his hits for pocket change or still creating great passionate soulful music.I believe that the latter would be the case. When Jimi died he was on the cusp of a Renaissance of his music. The music on Cry of Love and Rainbow Bridge was a vast departure from his previous music and was more melodic, serious and introspective. We only were exposed to the tip of the iceberg as far as his musical and lyrical capabilities went and he was about to create much greater music. Happy Birthday Jimi and Thanks for teaching me how to feel what I play and how I play.Sing On Brother.

Sagittarius (♐) is the ninth astrological sign in the Zodiac, originating from the constellation of Sagittarius. In western astrology, the sign is now no longer aligned with the constellation as a result of the precession of the equinoxes. Sagittarius is considered a "masculine", positive (extrovert) sign. It is also a fire sign and one of the four mutable signs.[2] Sagittarius is ruled by the planet Jupiter. Generally, the Sagittarius sign are considered to be compatible with fire signs such as Aries and Leo. There are many variables that determine compatibility in astrology, such as birth dates, birth months, birth years, position of a sign within the Sun, the Moon, stars, etc. The signs listed as compatible with Sagittarius do not reflect an individual profile or individual reading as interpreted within astrology, but rather reflect a general guideline and reference to compatibility as dictated by variables such as Qualities and Elements within the Zodiac.[3] The branch of astrology dealing with non-interpersonal compatibilities is called Synastry.
[edit] Mythology

In Greek mythology, Sagittarius is identified as a centaur: half human, half horse. In some legends, the Centaur Chiron was the son of Philyra and Saturn, who was said to have changed himself into a horse to escape his jealous wife, Rhea. Chiron was eventually immortalized in the constellation of Centaurus or in some versions, Sagittarius[ci

Happy Birthday Jimi. R.I.P.
