Same here. This year my Mom cooked so for the first time we had a Thanksgiving meal which was actually very good. Usually it's cardboard turkey and canned beans. lol

Left over turkey from Thanksgiving for supper, (yeah I still call it supper). Had a couple beers and some bbq chips for a snack later.

My kind of dinner.

Beef stew for me. Home cooked for 30 odd hours. The missus put it in at 10am on thursday.

Live fast, die young
Cook slow, die wide.

Attaboy! :D

So happens my wife just got home from a business trip to Dublin. Thursday (not Friday) night she was eating lamb... at a table with Mary McAleese. I kid you not (it was at an awards ceremony).

That same night I was at home alone eating beans on toast washed down with Old Thumper. Hmm - not quite the same... :?

Cheers - C
