i agree with nevin. turn some knobs. turn alot of knobs. find what sounds good to your ears. i'll bet you can get pretty close all by yourself. i know you can. maybe you need a pedal, maybe you don't. like nevin said, experiment.
let us know what you come up with. i'm going to try and find these guys on you tube. i've never heard of them. i'm old.

Sorry bud, but you just got to understand A LOT of people come on to the forum asking the exact same question "How do I get this sound???"

No need to get angry! I guess what I would do is find a good OD setting, roll the tone down a little bit on your guitar and the bass on your amp. Then just go from there. I haven't heard much of Bad Brains, but I think they have a song called "Banned in DC" right? I don't listen to much punk rock, other than the occasional Ramones on an anthology album I have.

everything on 10 except volume. adjust to taste. sounds like some good ole' fast punk to me. if you need something extra that the amp doesn't deliver, add an inexpensive OD or distortion pedal.
you will get honest answers here with a dash of sarcasm and humor. chill a bit and learn something. i know i did.
good luck with the cover. i liked it.

Sounds like a typical 70's marshall sound to me, no master volume, just turn the thing right up.

If you can get an old Ibanez soundtank thrash metal pedal, that is suprisingly close when the gain is turned down. It has that same kind of gnarly mid sound. Or get a 1959 jcm800 in unmodded condition.

It's in no way a difficult sound to acheive. The important thing is lots of low mid on the eq and not too much gain. You want more punch than grind

I listened to the clip but I must say that I can't help you on that one, sorry. I don't remember welcoming you either, so welcome Negative Creep, enjoy your stay here.
