I have a Planet Waves strap. I bought it in the discount bin. It came with a pick. The pick sucks, the strap is ok. Its a little narrow. I bought it for my acoustic. It does the job but its nothing special.

I have one planet waves and it's good, no issues.

But my other 3 fenders all have Jerry Garcia straps, really nice, heavy duty ends, comfortable and nice designs.

All four of these were purchased to replace Fender Logo straps that I had on my Fender guitars and basses. They did replace them for me after I sent them in. I liked the look of them but the end ripped out on one and almost cost me my Musicmaster bass neck, I than checked the one on my Strat and it was tearing but hadn't failed completely yet. Straplocks on all guitars too so thought I was safe.

Anyway, check into the Garcia ones if you're still shopping, nice straps too.

I have one of their Beatle straps,it's very well made and holds the strap pins firmly.

Yup, 'use a bg PW strap for church bass, 216 Masses and services to date, plus more than that many practices. With Strap Locks.

Just fine, should go another 500 or so before showing wear.

And 'swear by their circuit breaker cables, too. That on-off switch is really vital when there are so many music-less interludes.

Personally I have a NeoTech strap. It is the best strap I have ever purchased. It was about 30 dollars. The cool thing about it is that it is made from wet-suit material that divers wear. It conforms to fit your shoulder so it's like your no even holding your guitar. Haha. Also I'm sure the guys at Guitar Center would recommend any strap to you.

By the way... Have you seen this picture?

Also I have bought a Planet Waves Strap too, and it came with a yellow pick. The pick is all right, but the strap did the job until I found my NeoTech baby! 8)
