If you compare the fatalities of musicians on the highway, or just injuries suffered in accidents, you'll find that the percentages are much better flying.

Man,I don't know if you've been to the crash site but it's a spooky place...it's out in the country and not much is there, and when you walk down to where they found Patsy's body there's a small pile of rocks marking the spot,I got a weird feeling when I was there.

at the hall of fame in cleveland, there is a section of otis redding's plane on display, aswell as items that belonged to other deceased musicians.

i get the same tingles when i go to the henry ford museum in dearborn, mi. they have the chair that president lincoln was assasinated in, along with the blood-stained shawl he was covered in. they also have jfk's limo there too. worth a trip for the history.

You can say that again... especially if your lead singer is an airline pilot when you're not touring.

Didn't John Denver do himself in with a light airplane, too?

This is exactly what I thought of when I read this thread. Randy Rhoads is my favorite guitarist of all time. And he always will be. Safety and Peace, Randall William Rhoads March 19th, 1982.

Yep, and he was the one who built it too.
