after reading some of these.... WOW..... i live in new england (rhode island to be exact) and when we get snow we pretty much just plow, salt, sand, and keep goin :lol: .... we MIGHT get a day off from school if its bad enough (or not bad at all.... theyve made some f**ked decisions before such as having us stay home for a few inches and then having us go in a blizzard :shock:).... 500 accidents?!?!? dang... :shock:

Holy cow! You guys must get a ton of snow! I really enjoy snow, but it is definitely dangerous if too much is present.

we used to get quite a good amount.... nothing TOOOOOO ridiculous, but a good bit of it. but the past few years we havnt got as much :?

The whole courtyard in the middle of our school gets cordoned off everytime there's even light sleet here.

ok, total was about an inch, yes one single inch of snow, and the city SHUT DOWN for two days, and then since wednesday was the day before thanksgiving, 90% of the people driving to work in the morning milked it another day. Made it nice tuesday and wednesday to go to and from work with no one else on the roads! today was cake, too, even less traffic the day after thanksgiving. unless you had to go by one of the malls... Grand total for accidents reported to king county police agencies, sherrifs' office, and state highway patrol was over 3500 just on mondays' afternoon comute alone!

Just for the record, the cl add just made me laugh, I have no idea about the talent involved and wasn't trying to ridicule what seems to me to be a hopefull young musician. But it was pretty darn funny!
