As turkey day comes in and it's the season of giving thanks, what are you guys thankful for? I am very thankful for my family. All seven of us live in a 3 apartment home and I wake up every morning and I am just happy that I all of us live together. And also my mom, who has gone through some tough times as a single mother raising 3 kids but she always manages to pull through it. Without her help in getting me a teacher and my guitars I have today, I probably wouldn't be talking on this forum. Thank you mom.

I'm thankful for a lot of things, but mostly that I'm still alive!

Parents who raised me right.

The chance to play in a lot of bands doing original music over the years, and the good fortune to have more gear than I really need.

My wife and kids

General good health and that a cancerous lump in my neck was spotted early on by my wife (removed last Thursday).

God's grace and the chance to play music in church.

Being born in a free country, and for all the people, including my dad, who have served to keep it free.

The thing I'm most thankful for is the love of my family. The next on my list would be music as besides family that's the most important thing in my life moreso than eating and sleeping.I'm also thankful for the love and trust of my pets but as most pet owners would agree they are family members anyway.I'm also thankful that I live in a place with one of the lowest crime rates in the world-we can go for days and leave our doors unlocked-if we wanted to.

Oh, man...too many things to list in a bunch of sittings and eating up the Forum's memory.

There was a book at the local Borders which was titled, like "14,500 Things To Be Thankful For."

In this blessed life, that whole book would barely be the first page of the gratitude sprawling across this mind-heart-soul.

Happy Thanksgiving, Git-picking Bros and Sisters.
