I'm talking all types......from distortion to compession to equalizers to chorus and delays. I've picked up a few that Ive liked. The FAB
chorus is one I like. I also picked up a digitech rp1 that i completely fell in love with. It's a multieffects pedal that has killer cleans.

MXR M-86 Classic Distortion and MXR M-66 Classic Overdrive

I own them both and I giggle everytime I remember that I paid less than $60 for both of them COMBINED!

never tried an MXR. I'll have to check them out some time. I feel the same way every time I plug in my RP1. You can get them for nothing on ebay and in the 90's, you had to pay 800 or 900 bucks. Newer is not always better.

Just picked up a Boss DS-1 for $50 last weekend. My wife even likes the improved tone.

The Danelectro line of pedals are amazing for the low prices.I have the Cool Cat Chorus,Tremolo and Vibrato as well as the Hash Browns Flanger and the French Toast Octave Fuzz. They range from $30-$60 and the metal cased ones are practically blast proof along with the great sounds they make.Their overdrives are supposed to be something else and just deadly.

Surpirse fun:
Digitech RP-155 is fun to fool around with in the basement when the guys are over to jam.

Surprise bad:
Behringer UC-200 stereo ultra chorus
Very cheap jacks cables fall out on their own all the time, inserts strange clicking into signal when active.

Surprise good:|
Maxon OD-9, nice well built good performing overdrive.
There are better OD pedals but the cost goes up quick.

Biggest surprise to me was the Biyang Metal End. Used it on our whole CD. Bought it new for $65 and it really is versatile. It's not just for headbangers, there are a lot of ways it can be used. Love it!!

I cast my vote for the Danelectro Cool Cat CV-1 Vibe pedal. I was going to spend two and a half times as much on another UniVibe clone when I gave this one a try. Just $59 but you can buy online for $48 and change. Wish I had.
