I'm not much of a Tele fan but that one looks pretty cool Tim.

Thanks Voodoo! The Tele's definitely my favorite guitar. I'd never even played one before the day I bought the blackout, but this thing caught my eye and played perfectly. I also really love the stock pickups. And with a little personal touch, I think it's the perfect guitar for me.

I love black Strats and that shot might as well be poolside at the Playboy Mansion as far as I'm concerned - cool collection, John!

I only have one electric at the moment (guitars tend to slip through my hands with spectacular ease), but I've had this one a couple of years now and it's never gonna leave me:

I bought it new and before long had it routed for a humbucker. I later decided to swap the humbucker for a humbucker-sized P90 (Duncan Phatcat) and haven't looked back (yet!)
Anyway, love the look, feel (amazing neck), finish, tone and it resonates beautifully.

The pool might look nice but the water is seriously cold during winter. 58 degree water will get your attention fast.

Thanks, DINO.

The Playboy Mansion? I must be missing something. The only bunnies I see around here are the cottontail desert species.

Hey Kong. Just wondering what you think of this guitar? I've been wanting an ES-335 type guitar for some time. Thanks

I absolutely love it. I had heard the Korean ones are really good. This is a 2000 or 2001 (can't remember) and was made in Korea. It plays perfect, neck and action are amazing. Stays in tune pretty good, but the tuners are not the best; the are very decent though. I prefer the Grovers and may upgrade at some point. The stock ones are getting the job done for now.

I was very surprised with the pickups because I love 'em. I had to replace the stock pickups in my Epi Silverburst, because they were too muddy, but not these. They sound beautiful through my valve junior and also sound great with some overdrive or distortion. I probably like playing this guitar most out of my entire collection at the moment.

I traded my brand new Epi '56 Goldtop for it about a month ago and I am really happy I made the trade. The guy I got it from said he bought it from a local music store which had a few in stock. He said this was the best player among the bunch. I believe him. We jammed a bit when we were making the trade and he was a heck of a player and seemed to really know what he was talking about.

Right before Christmas, Musicians Friend was selling the Dot Deluxe with the nice flame top in a burst for 399 including a hardshell case. I thought that was a good deal, but I don't have any experience with the new ones from China. If you see an early 2000s Korean for sale, you should check it out. I've seen quite a few in the 250 - 300 range on Craigslist.

I had my heart set on a Sheraton II but people around here are asking too much money. I dig the inlays and the vine on the headstock on the Sheraton. After playing my Dot, I probably would not trade it for a Sheraton now.
