i have several of the 80s Boss heavy metal pedals.
if you can find one on ebay your problem is solved.
you can either go solid metal with Boss, or go bubble gum metal and get the rat and the fuzz pedals.

What about a Muff or perhaps two Muffs? If Muffs aren't your thing, then perhaps a Swollen Pickle? Well, check out this video of two Muffs and a Swollen Pickle to get an idea.

i have owned a ds-1, a bd-1, a ts-808 reissue, and an mxr distortion. out of all of them i liked the mxr the best. i have tried the jekyll and hyde and it was really good, and it has more tonal options.

check out any of the mxr overdrives and the visual sound jekyll and hyde dual overdrive/distortion pedal.

You can try adding an overdrive pedal to your chain too. That should push you "over the top" into insane levels of distortion.
