The person who uploaded that glockenspiel player vid needs to be shot for crediting a good composition to a copycat.

I believe he is talking about the person that loaded it to YouTube and credited the song to SRV not Hendrix, Not you BCB.

those crazy Korean's

I also like the Korean kid that plays two guitars simultaneously and does the Super Mario Bros theme song.

Nicely done... i think Nik was referring to the credit going to SRV and not Hendrix.

Well yeah, It's interesting and probably good in a novelty kind of way.
But if she releases it as a record, I don't think I'll be buying it. :D

I actually liked it a lot. I even watched the Steve Vai Tender Surrender one as well. I enjoyed both of them. 8)

If it was John Mayer, KWS or somebody more mainstream or some other Strat with a hat that you'd get some interest.

SRV's version bored me. At least it was done on some crazy arse stringed instrument. And by what looks like a kid. I know I couldn't play one of those things. I thought it was kind of cool. Zappa used to like all kinds of weird instruments. Zappa even played a bicycle on the Steve Allen show. I guess I have an open mind for weird stuff.

BCB good find.

I think she did a good job...as for the above comments---The following opinion is just that: My opinion... yeah Jimi was first....SRV copycats Jimi...Kenny Wayne Shepard copycats SRV and Jimi... It would seem to me we could say the same about copycatting when it comes to Eric Clapton but we dont (Robert Johnson etc.) So someone takes a song and puts a different spin on it and claims to "make it their own" when, in reality it was'nt theirs to begin with.(sorry for ending with a preposition) New(er)artists do this all the time, and I think it can be a really good way to bring some of the more obscure music or artists to light, to a specific audience that may not have ever heard of the original. In this way, the music never dies. However, Jimi was not an "Obscure" artist....I think that since Jimi was such an influence on SRV, he wanted to pay homage to his hero....and if its true that imitation is the best form of flattery, then I think Jimi would be proud. Flame if you want, just my opinion.
