Brad is the one person that makes the forum possible. I just think that he deserves some recognition once in a while.

Yeah, I often criticize Fender, but I don't think that doesn't mean Brad deserves a little credit once in a while.

Thanks very much, Brad.

Cheers,
Bill

Absolutely, Bill!

It takes a special breed of cat to keep this herd tamed.

Rawk on, Brad!

Good on ya vinyl for this thread.

If anyone deserves applause here in the Forum, it’s the big kahuna.

Standing ovation and encore for Brad.

Thanks, BT.

This cracks me up.
Like thanking the Officer handing you the ticket.
Thanks for doing your job Officer.
You're quite right; I was moving at a pretty good clip there.
I deserve this ticket.
Thank you sir.

Sorry, was that out of line?

Awwwwww ... REALLY appreciate the thought here, vinyl! And thanks so much to everyone else who piped in here as well. It's a fantastic community and a largely self-policing one at that, which is precisely what I was shooting for when we launched the place over 12 years ago. You folks really deserve the overwhelming lion's share of the credit for keeping this place fun and family-friendly for that entire time! It's allowed me to maintain a relatively low profile here, which is really the way it should be - I'm typically signing in here at all sorts of weird hours (whenever the rest of the requirements of my day gig have been serviced) and performing behind-the-scenes upkeep / spam control / etc. A labor of love, to be sure!

We've certainly come a long way since the very first thread, here:
https://forums.fender.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=63&p=66

Always fun looking back at the "old days" and seeing how far things have progressed. :D

Anyway, thank you again - really appreciate the comments from everyone here!

Haha, the "standing behind a plane" photo. :D And yes, I'll confess - I've been wearing aviator sunglasses pretty much at all times in this particular band ... light or dark, rain or shine, good-sized nightclub or tiny local dive. Mock me if you will. Haha!
