a friendly conversation
with a thoughtful commiseration
about a positive dispensation
to wit a constructive ideation
and a little excitation
then a smiling exclamation
to add a warm sensation
for your consideration

a heart and a home as we can see
may not be a mansion high on a hill
although it very well could be
perhaps a cabin in the forest
surrounded by trees
that comfy cottage in a village
near a river or brook or a lake or by the sea
might be a cozy apartment nestled in the city
if that is your home
it is where your heart wants to be

Thanks, for the warm and fuzzy one, Rollie. As always a beaut’.

With your motivation, Rollie, and keeping with the theme:

- Gary

I arise from my bunk
Surrounded by others
Who left behind
their bestest and mothers.

The locker beside me
Holds all that I own
For now my bunk
Is my little home.

One day it’s tied
To a land far away
On others I’ll be
Where I love to stay.

On the deck I wait
for the sun to go down
And think of my home
And my little town.
