wrote this for my Bros social club:

Debonair
would you dare
or, wouldn't you
yes, you there
sensual aura, demeanor aware
and the prettiest shoes
just so dress, up to there
hypnotized stockings
draw a vision
not a stare
as you walk back in
to this Wicker affair
Debonair
would you dare
or, wouldn't you
yes, you right there
groove to the music
hands in the air
hip hop sexy
dancers bounce everywhere
bodies vibrate to the sound
heart thumping sensation there
play on the music-go-round
at Wicker's Club Social de Savoir Faire
Debonair
would you dare
or, wouldn't you.... for you Steve,:)

My Poetry

I want to slap you very hard
slap you in the freaking yard
thrash you like you know I should
hit you with a piece of wood

Lovey dovey poetry sucks
run you over with a truck
stomp you with a biker boot
wouldn't that be a hoot ?

Mash you with an old hubcap
leave it laying in your lap
Whack you with a rubber mat
make all your tires flat

Now I will be on my way
and waiting for another day
when I will be coming back
to give you just one more slap.

Beginners

Dreams free to spree will be
the thin misty affinity in minutes
Measured forever when senses are leveled
within us
begin us
beginners.

baby ducks on the pond
roam the free range chicken sky
vast fields of rust tresspass into the eye
of never never land
bloated goat madness immersed
of salt flat wonder
the sage of mountain yonder
the crust of a pie

Tall cabin redwood desert
beneath the sod of a cornfield
wonders
blunders

Faux split plank trex load
swaying to and fro--
a mouse begins
a man goes fishing

:D

Fly, I Must

Fly, I must, like a bird on the wind

Leaving the nest for the first time

With such wings,so weak, never been used

Fluttering through the air ungracefuly.

Fly, I must, like a bird on the wind

Leaving the nest to hunt for food

Soarig through the air with great ease

Catching mice for food in the field.

Fly, I must, like a bird on the wind

Leaving the nest for the last time

Gracefully floating on the breeze

Towards my awaiting Destiny.

thoughts about how to start
to start again or
in another word, restart
and for you
man it has been awhile
trying to and, trying to not
not try, to write in style
all the while facing
miles of piles of trials
with unassuming smiles
perceiving woven webs
for thought provoking riles
hope all is well
to be clear as a bell
a fluttering note
like a signified cloak
and, gone

its been 10 years gone
and the sadness lingers on if you give me your best
those silver birds of prey
and religious fervor gone astray
love for god has gotten lost
and hatred seized the day.

if you give me your best
i'll cheer you on
if your heart is pure
i'll cheer you on
if you lose you wont be less
i'll cheer you on
do it for love and
i'll cheer you on.

now i'm gettin' old and grey
but i still remember the day
that cold hearted devil
carried my good friend away
but he couldn't hold him long
'cos the good in him was strong.

if you give me your best
i'll cheer you on
if your heart is pure
i'll cheer you on
if you lose you wont be less
i'll cheer you on
do it for love and
i'll cheer you on

roses are red
violets are purple
sugar is sweet
and so is maple syrple
trying to make up a rhyme
to keep up with time
not too hard, not that I'm
making up a ditty
from a smile to sublime
but with the thought in mind
going around in a circle
just reminds me of an old
five eyed, long necked
six horned, pot belly'd
spotted and striped bowed legged thyrple

inviting black sun spots
is a twin to me
torn fuel to the feelings
are irritated by speeding cells
carved in the solid sand
watching the new future

DREAMS
Passing silently in the night.
Are the dreams of what once were, and what might have been.
And the dreams of what may still be to come.
They pass so swiftly that there hardly noticed.
Until one special dream, is manifested in your mind that will not be forgotten.
Who knows why such dreams come and go, But I'm very glad they do.
Without them you might never be a rock star, or Evan play guitar.
You might never fly an airplane, or Evan drive a car.
There are so many things you might never do, if it weren't for your sweet dreams.
So keep them coming MR. Sand Man and make them lots of fun.
For I have many things to do and adventures not yet taken.
And keep them coming Right and left, before I awaken.
----Danny,

Love's a road many fools walk down,
but so few understand what they have found
heartache after heartache they choose,
sometimes you win, sometimes you loose;

My heart's been down that road before,
oh so far, as far as the eye can see
one look in your eyes and i know,
this is the last stop for me;

Honesty so hard to come by,
in our hearts secret lives and white lies
lover after lover down the line,
all the pain and tears time after time;

This is the last stop for me.

THE DARKNESS
The darkness passes silently through the night.
Not a single sound does it make.
But the World which passes through the darkness, makes many sounds.
Sounds of war and sounds of fright.
Sounds of panic in the fight, for freedom almost lost.
And then won back again.
The sounds of a new born baby lying in its mothers arms.
Sounds of shiny new automobiles, on the street below.
The sound of a tall elm tree swaying in the midnight breeze.
Sounds of a tiny mouse as he nibbles on a piece of cheese.
All these many sounds thought the night, have a meaning of there own.
They mean the world is still alive, and doing well, in the universe we call home.
