i confess, there are a few reality shows i like:

was always a fan of "cops"
american pickers
pawn stars
american pawn
i like them because they are true- no re-creations with drama added

not a big fan of:
operation repo, and shows that are re-creations. they just seem so hokey.

what are your likes/dislikes?

Sorry to bust your bubble, but Pawn Stars is all setup in advance. They go through classified ads in the papers and online looking for those odd items you see on the show. They even stage some scenes when they can't find something good. I know two people that were solicited for the show so far. One turned them down and one accepted. Both told me how the producers script everything you see.

I like American Pickers, too. Talk about your dream job. They sure find some cool stuff, and they're classy guys...they don't try to rip anyone off. Many times I've seen them give someone more than what they were asking for.

Only ones I'll occasionally look at are
wipeout or total wipeout.

Funny to watch idiots bang themselves up for a bad show.

Other than that have better things to strum than the babble-box. :)

Cake Boss. Because whatever rubbish they talk during the show, you end up with a cake that blows your mind.

My other half watches American Wife Swap.

It's usually one couple who work too hard and another couple who don't work enough. And if one set of parents thinks dressing up as pirates is a lifestyle, that's a sort of bonus.

I'm a big fan of American Pickers... I keep hoping that one day they'll stumble across an old Strat.

My wife likes to watch the show "Bad Girls Club". They put a bunch of egotistical women in the same house and let the drama unfold. It's annoying but they sure are nice to look at.

Pickers was OK now its boring I can only watch someone picking junk for so long. Pawn shop is cool just because of the stuff. The drama is getting old. American Restoration is cool at the moment.

You know, I used to go there all the time many years ago. That place was a DUMP. At least it's good to see that by doing the T.V. show they're enjoying some success. I haven't seen the show, but I just watched some youtube vids, and it looks much better inside.

Funny thing is, now when I drive by, there's a line outside of tourists waiting to get in. But if you're really into pawn shops, there's a really cool one right across the street. I've run across some killer deals on instruments there.

I sit at a desk all day, and on the couch at night playing guitar so I dream about getting out a about once in a while.

May not be reality tv but anything about rebuidling, buidling, repairing, customizing cars. Really like Lowriders, maybe it was the host.
