Hey everybody. New to this forum, but I've been posting on tdpri for a little while. Anyhow, I thought I'd share the build project I just completed.

Basically, I wanted to make a 72 RI Thinline Tele, but with a twist. I gathered all the parts, but wanted to do something a little cooler with the body. I used a basic tele shape to start with, but did a slight contour change including a slight double cutaway. Also, I incorporated a Rick cateye style f-hole instead of the traditional style. For the wood, I used Black Walnut and finished it with clear nitro.

Anyhow, I just finished it last weekend and played it through my 1969 Bandmaster last night. Sounds and plays awesome. Check out the build progress here:

Very nice. I would love something like that with P-90s in it. I be that sound great.
