Well apparently the disagreement with the two Apples has been settled and the Beatles 13 albums are now on Itunes

Itunes

Any thoughts?

More access to the Beatles is a good thing.

Not as earth shaking as Steve Jobs Apple led it to believe....

If you are a Beatle fan, you already had your Ipod loaded with tunes via CD.

You can also just buy Beatles digital music from a site that is not iTunes ... I never use iTunes as it is too expensive.

Plus I just read that with all the hype, APPLE shares went down yesterday! Because folks said the same thing..you could get BEATLE tunes on your IPod before. Plus, they are the most expensive Itunes at $1.29 per song.

How much is a Beatles album on iTunes in the US? I notice Abbey Road is to be had for $7.99 on CD from Amazon, for comparison.

Where I live it is A LOT cheaper to buy Beatles albums almost anywhere except iTunes.

It seems that when you peel away the hype and get to the core of the issue iTunes is still pipped at the post by - well, everyone else, really. I won't be biting...

Cheers - C

I've stopped downloading completely now. I buy cd's from Amazon, some great deals to be had there, e.g. £11 for 5 Chicago albums I bought recently.

Same here. AMAZON has wonderful "used CD" prices.

I never bought any ITunes. Seemed such a waste of money...

They should have a "Penny Lane" Promotion...any 5 songs for 5 cents to kick the Beatles party off.
