Love the nuts. Not too enamoured with the saddles.

The nuts work perfectly, offer great slippage through the slots. The saddles seem to take all the liveliness out of the strings.

I have a set of saddles on my zebracaster. They work fine maybe mellow out a tone I am not sure. I however feel very comfy when placing my palm across them. I use this guitar for various setup/electronic/whatnot experiments and did not find any issues.

i can see where a tone change would be possible it the string
was running across graphite on both ends.
that metal on etal tone would be lost.

I agree 100%. Getting ready to order a new TUSQ XL nut for my USA Strat and put a regular Graphtech nut on my MIM Strat 2 years ago. It has given me no problems to date.

i didnt have much tuning problems to begin with because my trem is blocked but it seemed to give a slightly better tone than the old plastic nut and metal string tree. i also found that the added string tree brought out the d and g string. and i would assume if i were to use the trem it would stay in tune better than it had previousely

ok if you have double locking, and they work properly, anything after
such as string trees etc etc wouldnt matter.

It helped a lot. I think you're always gonna have some tuning issues with a tremolo, but the Graphtech nut really helped my guitar stay in tune a lot better. I found that the best way to adjust the height is to sand the bottom of the nut then place it in the slot and check the height. I think a lot of tuning issues are just from nuts that are poorly cut (ouch!!!) down in the slots. This causes the string to bind. The Graphtech nut has a perfect slot for the string to sit in. Imagine a bad cut looking like a V where a good cut will look more like a U. The tension doesn't cause the string to get wedged down into the U like it would with a V cut.

A pawn shop guitar I bought a while back had Graphtech saddles on it. They are awful in my opinion. It's funny how they use a selling bit that you get more sustain. Not a chance. I found them to dull the sound and lose sustain as well. I can't believe how much money they want for them.
