What a wonderful post as always from Ceri. I thoroughly enjoyed that as always!

It looks like you gents had a great time. I so wish I could have been there too. I've yet to meet a forum member in person unfortunately. Would love a few pints and a jam with all of you.

Ha! Thanks, but I can't take credit for that brilliant "Putin on the Ritz" graphic. But that doesn't mean I don't take great delight in using it whenever I can! 8)

Absolutely wonderful.

I hope you don't mind that I borrowed that photo of Battersea.

Not at all! :D

But wait, I have better pictures. How's this, complete with pig and Fender Forum T-shirt?

Any use?

You know Ceri you really must be some sort of secret agent or top secret important job that affords you government protection. I mean strolling around London with a guitar case and opening it in the street, its like fly paper for violent offenders

My wife was working the camera on that shot. NOBODY would argue with her in a street fight - Secret Service bodyguards not required...

Ahh, so my wife probably attended the same training program as yours. You should just see her when she is guarding an empty parking spot on the street for me. People are just scared of her...

Well, well well!

I must say I like this thread! The distinguished participation of Mister Russianracehorse tickled my weary cheeks quite a bit! Thanks for that, Sir! 8)

And back on! 8) Ah, a Saturday night on these streets can drive the strongest men to madness! So why wait?

Mr Celtic, if you should have a chance to visit the South East, give us a tinkle, will you? I still have to check out if they have the beer Ceri had the other day... I shall check long, and deeply, and thoroughly, and I can't do it on me own! I might need assistance! 8) BTW this goes for all interested prospective visitors -

Well Lords and Ladies, I've just returned from the metropolis, and I must say it's a nice place to live in the city center. Just about anywhere you could spit (if that was your intention) you would hit some historic place, and you walk through all this and there's more, and more, and even more after that.

The analogy to my email-inbox when I returned home after being away for only 40 hours is quite fitting. There's spam, and more spam, and even more spam. This was a screenshot I took when I'd spent 3 minutes deleting:

Anyway, it's good to find the odd gem in the inbox, and news from the Fender forum is always appreciated, so here's one quick shot I took yesterday with my mobile - I guess it's too easy a question if I ask you which famous site this is?

Ah, now, after long and enduring speculation on that particular matter that we've had on this board I can now officially confirm that this is indeed absolutely and entirely true. I was frisked twice before I was let anywhere near the man, there were constantly bodyguards to the left and right of us (just out of frame, one of them indeed took that picture), but I think they mis-understood us when we kept going on about pick-ups and kill switches and how my hands were usually too large for most necks... they started getting quite fidgety. I'm no expert, but shouldn't you be a really calm dude to become a bodyguard? Those lads were seriously nervous...

Anyway. Been nice catching up on my fellow Forum inmates! When will we see you all "Live"? :D

'till next time:

-Nutter

I will indeed Nutter Sir, thank you very much. Same goes for anyone in the Belfast area!

And not for the last time, I suspect...?

We were chatting about Antonio Forcione, and I just got an email from him saying he's playing a small basement club in Soho, 12 - 15 December. Interested?

Cheers - C

Yeah mate, bring it on! I dunno yet if I have time on either of those dates but I will try and make it possible! As I said I haven't yet seen him live so I am pretty keen! Are you planning to go at all? Anyway, send it over! :)

Thanks for remembering!

Regarding the metropolis: Yep I'll be to and fro for the next weeks, day in, day out. If I go mad(er) I shall let you know...

Yeah Ceri: those pics are simply cool. :)

The real question isn't what it is--but rather how many holes it takes to fill it.
