Andy, your recommendations were absolutely spot-on! We had a few beers in the Fiddler's and proceeded to Browns, where we spent the rest of the evening untill they eventually chucked us out (but with a friendly smile). I can whole-heartedly confirm that both venues were very fine ones and I shall visit them again in the future! Only small drawback was that the Fiddler didn't serve Bombardier... later thinking produced my theory that such an English brew would not be the favourite choice in an Irish Pub...

Anyhow, next time with you, mate, deal? 8)

...Damned if I can remember what I was drinking though! It was the right-hand pump from the ale section of the bar, that's all I know. It was nice!

I'll have to come back to find out what I had.

Sorry not to catch you Andy. Or to catch any of that copper... :D

'Nother time.

Cheers - C

What we have here mates, are two of the most creative, wood carvingest, wire-bendingest, solder-joinings, paint and finishing-est artists on the Forum. 8) I sense a team built project in the making.

However....as usual....I digress :!:

Ceri....the next time you are on this side of the pond I will personally take you from Soho to Brighton NYC style. Soho Manhattan may possess a familiarity however you will find Brighton Beach decidedly different, smacking of an ethnic heritage particular to these parts. We have gone over from Yiddish to Russian, so best be prepared. The kind of fare you can expect on that jaunt will be decidely different.

Ceri, you are the top Bro! I so enjoy reading your posts and threads ( like the Ian Fleming of Fender ) and getting to see those wonderful pics! Nutter, Bro, so tall, a hit with the ladies you must be!

Thanks Bros!

 SBLS, I agree on the first part of your message! Ceri is probably Ian's heir... :D The second part of your message... well. I couldn't possibly comment!

Should you ever venture into these parts, drop in, I'm sure you would enjoy the sights! ;-)

-Nutter
That is a venture to look forward to!

Thank you! Quietly wondered whether you'd notice. Not quite tortuous enough to earn me Citizen Kane's slow hand-clap though? That's the ultimate accolade, far as I'm concerned... :D

There--I've fixed it. You do indeed deserve the Citizen Kane clap. I was just in too much of a hurry this morning to pay proper respects.

And at the risk of...

You may now return to your regularly scheduled thread, already in progress.
