Just got done with this new DVD. All in all a good DVD with great tunes from Sonny Landreth, Stefan Grosman and Keb Mo, and especially the Derek Trucks / Susan Tedeschi Band with Warren Haynes....I enjoyed the tunes with Buddy Guy, Ronnie Wood, and Jonny Lang too. Some of the stuff was rehashed form 2007 and I thought the sound and video left a bit to be desired too....I think 2007 was a bit better musically and technically (imho).

I read a similar review of the DVD elsewhere. I have the first two DVDs already. Maybe I'll pass on this one. Maybe . . .

Good DVD,

One thing was missing. At the end they did not show all the artist on stage do a song. As they all came out on stage near the end they just faded to the credits.

I guess, I got to attend the next one.

Got given the blu-ray because I grew another ring around the middle :)

Have not had time to listen to it yet, still working on the
Albert King & SRV DVD and the David Gilmour Remember that Night blu-rays.

For once I ended up with something I can actually use instead of ties and wallets to clog the closet. :D

I had hoped to finish viewing the new one on my flight to FL today but my space requirements were overuled by six lionshead bowls used as ovenwear for things like onion soup and chicken pot pie. I have email on its way to you Steve. Hope all is well. 8)

Methinks the most important part was the heat. Gotta give everyone involved, artists and audience alike credit. Murray actually observerd that people were passing out in numbers. Those Forum mates who were there might add more.

It was the hottest that I've ever been, but worth it. Watched many people being carted away by event staff.

...don't get me wrong my friends, I think that the 2010 DVD is very, very good. I just like the 2007 a bit better. I seemed to be a bit more spontaneous and it was a bit better technically.

:)
