Got a chance to watch the first half last night. Wow. For some reason it won't let my play it on the computer, which is very annoying since I want it on my iPod.

I don't either, but I do copy it to iTunes so that I can put it on my iPod and watch whenever and wherever I want.

I still haven't had the chance to see the whole thing, but I'm almost there. I got my brother to watch it and all of a sudden he's an Albert King fan. I've been trying to get him into Albert King for years. He really liked "Don't Lie to Me" so I taught it to him on guitar this evening. He has a sudden interest in guitar and music in general, so he's going to be my guinea pig when it comes to teaching guitar.

I preordered mine a few weeks ago, I checked on Amazon and it says it's shipped and should be here this Monday. I would've had it by now, but I wanted to save money on shipping. So I have to endure a weekend of torture. :x

That's one they didn't give me a heads up on, but good to know from here.
Just got my Crossroads 2010 from them. Plan to watch it this weekend.

They played the show last night on PBS, anyone else get a chance to see it?

Stevie was armed with #1 and Red and used one of his Vibroverbs. Albert stuck with his custom made flying V but I couldn't identify his amp.

It was amazing to see how much Stevie played with the knobs and selector switch on his guitars. He doesn't do it too much on the El Macombo DVD but on this one he seemed to change something every couple of notes.

It was also nice to see Stevie playing rhythm. He's just as good at playing rhythm as he is lead.

I finally got my DVD the day before Thanksgiving!
Watched it Friday.

Nice work on both guitarists part. I think Albert was in awe of SRV. He dd seem to have problems keeping his guitar in tune too. Possibly the TV lights which I know can be very hot. At one point it looked like Albert was filing his nails or fingers??? What was that about?

Yeah, I saw it on TV. They played it twice, so I watched it twice. :P

I watched it last night. I saw what looked like an old Fender blackface amp near King and assumed it was his.
