I started out on a maple neck P, switched to rosewood for years, then recently found my way back to maple. I have one of each. As long as it's a Fender P bass neck with vintage specs, I'm in heaven. I'm now impartial to maple or rosewood. I like each of them for their own reasons, feel and tonal properties.

I am new here. Looks like fun. Not sure what I have as it was replaced with a warmoth neck years ago by former owner.

Aah...then Rosewood it is. Thanks evh1978. Is that your birth year or guitar built year ? My strat was born in the 70s.

My jaguar was built in 2006. I'm actually more into modern over vintage. I'm weird like that. Thats my birthyear.
