Amen. Things are bad enough with the other political threads. When are they gonna get closed?

Yeah they need to close the "Economy getting better or worse" it is getting pretty heated in there. Oh, look a tooth... Lol. It will be threads like that taint our respectful Fender Forum reputation.

it's kind of funny. i started a thread about political topics on the fender forums. it's nice to see that there are others who would prefer to not respond. i will not give my political views here. it seems that nowadays in the world everything is great until somebody asks you a political question.

there are some you can discuss things with, and with others it turns into a heated argument. it's too bad- i love a good debate from every side of the spectrum, but too often people get mad, start calling names, and sometimes friendships suffer. don't want to see that happen here

I read a lot and listen to sports talk on the radio, my question and some may be shock by this but is Beck a Radio guy or TV guy. I really have never listened to him.

I read the Washington Times, Standard, New York Times, Arutz Sheva, and the Irish Times on line and others at times. Try to be diverse.

I believe he's pretty much primarily a TV guy.

An oldtime rule is that discussion of politics and religion should be avoided if you want to avoid arguments.
but some people just can't stay away from stirrin' the pot...and the more you stir it the worse it stinks.
